A rug that is entirely yours
Most of what we make starts as a conversation. You bring a room, and sometimes a colour you cannot stop thinking about, and we weave it into a hand-knotted carpet made for you alone. There are four ways to begin.
1. A fully bespoke design
We design with you from a blank page: scale, composition, palette, materials, and finish. You see a hand-knotted sample of the real colours and quality before we commit the full piece to the loom. From first sketch to delivery, one person stays on the project, so you never have to explain it twice.
2. Tailor an existing design
Love a piece from one of our collections but need it in your size, your palette, or a different material? We adapt almost any design. The character stays, the dimensions and colours become yours.
3. A custom size or shape
Round, runner, oversized, or made to the exact footprint of a room. We weave to the centimetre, including wall to wall for a single space.
4. Large and professional projects
For interior architects, hotels, and developments we handle volume and coordination: multiple rooms, repeat palettes, lead times planned around a build. We have delivered to homes, hotels, offices, and yachts across the world.
How a bespoke piece is made
Hand-knotted in India or Nepal in wool and natural silk, dyed with a technique that gives the abrash you see in the finest old carpets: the tonal movement within a single colour that comes from hand-spun yarn taking the dye unevenly. Weaving alone takes five to six months at standard density, longer for higher knot counts, and a piece hurried on the loom shows it for the rest of its life. Cared for well it lasts 20 to 30 years or longer, often across generations.
