TVR wins 2 awards with latest collection SPACES

TVR’s new collection “SPACES” was selected as the 2020 Architizer A+Awards Popular Choice and a very prestigious European Product Design Award.

The SPACES collection is based on geometric patterns drawn from virtual images of 3D architecture, rendered as 2D rugs. The combination of architectural lines and abstract colour produces a depth that is characteristic of TVR’s design language.

The creative process took 2.5 years. The designs are characterised by refined detail, soft yet precise colours, and a distinctive colour flow, executed in the finest materials available.

The rugs are woven at close to 200,000 knots per m² in India, in hand-carded, hand-spun wool combined with natural silk. All TVR rugs use Swiss chemical dyes from a supplier that filters its process water before discharge.
