TVR wins 2 awards with latest collection SPACES

TVR's new collection "SPACES" won the 2020 Architizer A+Awards Popular Choice in the Carpet category, and a European Product Design Award.

The SPACES collection is based on geometric patterns drawn from virtual images of 3D architecture, rendered as 2D rugs. Architectural lines set against abstract colour give each rug a depth you can see from across a room.

The creative process took 2.5 years. The detail is fine, the colours soft but precise, and the colour flows across the surface rather than sitting in blocks.

The rugs are woven at close to 200,000 knots per m² in India, in hand-carded, hand-spun wool combined with natural silk. All TVR rugs use Swiss chemical dyes from a supplier that filters its process water before discharge.

As with everything we make, these rugs can be ordered in any size and any shape.
