Delivery

Yes. Wherever you are, we deliver. Every TVR rug is designed in Belgium, hand-knotted to measure in India and Nepal, and shipped to your door, insured. Shipping within the EU is complimentary. Outside the EU, including Switzerland, Norway, the UK, the US, Canada, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, we quote the shipping cost once your order is placed, and you see the full delivered price before you commit to anything.

How delivery works

1. You choose the design, size and materials. We work to any dimension. Our looms go up to 25 metres wide, and there is no limit on length. Nothing goes on the loom until you have approved a rendering in your own room.

2. Your rug is hand-knotted in India or Nepal. A made-to-measure piece takes 4 to 6 months on average. If you need something sooner, stock pieces are ready to ship within days.

3. We ship it to your door. By air or sea depending on size and destination, insured, door to door. Within the EU, shipping is on us; outside the EU, we send a shipping quote once your order is confirmed.

4. Duties and import VAT are settled at delivery. Every country handles this differently, so we tell you the full delivered price in advance. For Switzerland, we quote in Swiss francs on request, and the 8.1% Swiss import VAT plus any duty is paid on delivery. For the Gulf, we can provide a DDP quote (all taxes and duties included) on request.

Materials and sizes

Every rug is hand-knotted, never machine-made, in wool, natural silk, bamboo silk, nettle fibre or Kashmir wool, chosen for the design and the room it is going into. There is no fixed size list. Tell us the dimensions your space calls for, and we knot to that measurement, whether that is a small rug for an entrance or a carpet that fills the room.

Do you ship to Switzerland and the Gulf?

Yes. Switzerland and the Gulf are two regions we deliver to regularly outside the EU. Shipping is quoted once your order is placed, by air or sea, fully insured.

How much does shipping to Switzerland cost, and who pays the import VAT?

Shipping is quoted per order once the rug is confirmed, and we can price it in Swiss francs on request. Switzerland charges 8.1% import VAT plus any applicable duty, both paid on delivery. You have the total cost before you place the order.

How long will my rug take to arrive?

A made-to-measure rug takes 4 to 6 months to knot, plus shipping time. If you need something faster, ask about our stock pieces, which ship within days.

Do I pay customs duties and import taxes?

Yes, these are set by your own country and paid to the carrier or customs on delivery. You will know the figure before you order. For the Gulf, we can also arrange a DDP quote that includes all taxes and duties.

How do I start if I cannot visit the showroom?
